Perth flight training is generally conducted in Jandakot (YPJT), this is a class D aerodrome with a TAF and 3 runways. This aerodrome compared to others around Australia is not very busy and there are a couple of flying schools located around the apron. The best thing about flying around Jandakot and Western Australia is the weather is generally perfect for most of the year. With over 300 days of no rain a year. The opposite can be said when the heat and summer kick in during Nov- Apr, gets around 40 degrees during summer which can be a no-fly zone for some aircraft like the Diamond.

This club provides cheap hire of aircraft for members, These are the cheapest Aircraft that can be flown in Jandakot for hire and building hours/keeping current. 2 of the Aircraft are IFR capable and allow you to fly at night. You must join the club and do a check flight and G1000 course if never flown an A/C with G1000. After that, you are able to hire and fly as you would like.
