Alliance Training Bond

Pilot will remain employed by the Company for a period of two (2) years from the Commencement of Employment, so that the Company receives a reasonable return on investment of the Training Costs, which the Company conservatively estimates will be $30,000.00. (c) If within two (2) years from Commencement of Employment, the Pilot resigns or is terminated for any reason other than a Redundancy under clause 21, the Pilot will repay a portion of the $30,000.00 that is commensurate with the proportion of the two (2) year period that has not lapsed.


Upgrade:

Pilot will remain employed by the Company for a period of one (1) year from the upgrade training and SIM commencing so that the Company receives a reasonable return on investment of the Training Costs, which the Company conservatively estimates will be $15,000.

8 Days and the rest filled with reserve if not flying.


How much do Alliance Airline Pilots get paid?



ANNUAL BASE SALARY (Clause 13.2) Classification Annual Base Salary (gross)

Captain $154,000.00 (gross)

First Officer $106,260.00 (gross)

The Base Salary of a Training Captain will be 11% above and a check Captain 18% above the Base Salary of a line Captain under this Agreement.


The Annual Base Salary will be increased by Australian Bureau of Statistics CPI - All Groups weighted average for the eight (8) capital cities' June figure from the 1st September each year.


RPTBONUS i) Each Captain covered by this Agreement will be paid a maximum gross per annum RPT Bonus of $9,000.00 ("Captain RPT Bonus"). ii) Each First Officer covered by this Agreement will be paid a maximum gross per annum RPT Bonus of $6,210.00 ("First Officer RPT Bonus").


PRODUCTIVITY BONUS (Clause 13.4-28 day Roster Period threshold of 55 Flight Hours) Classification Productivity Hourly Rate (gross)

First Officer $173.54

Captain $274.28


The productivity bonus will be increased by Australian Bureau of Statistics CPI-All Groups weighted average for the eight (8) capital cities' June figure from the 1st September each year for the life of the Agreement.


Sick Leave

Pilots are entitled to up to six (6) days' paid leave per annum for disability associated with URTI

A full-time Pilot is entitled to 10 days paid personall carer's leave for each completed year of service. (b) Personall carer's leave is to be taken in accordance with the NES. (c) A Pilot is entitled to a maximum of four (4) single days of personal/carer's leave or URTI Ieave each year of service without production of evidence (i.e. a medical certificate or statutory declaration). Where a Pilot has taken more than four (4) days of personal/carer's leave or URTI leave each year of service or takes two (2) or more consecutive days of personal/carer's leave or URTI leave, the Pilot · must produce evidence (i.e. a medical certificate and/or a statutory declaration) that the leave is for a permitted reason under the NES or clause 22.3.


Leave

6 weeks in 1 week blocks in a period of 1 year.

Alliance Airlines Pilot Minimum Requirements

Australian citizen or Hold Australian Permanent Residency Status

  • 1500 hours total time

  • 500 hours Pilot In Command on Multi Engine aeroplane

  • Completion of all ATPL subjects

  • Multi Engine Instrument Rating (MEIR)

  • Australian CPL + ATPL Subjects or Full Australian ATPL

  • English Language Proficiency Level 6 on your licence

  • Current CASA Class 1 Medical

  • Meet company COVID vaccination requirements

  • Be able & willing to pass Drug & Alcohol Testing

  • The ability to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) (effective 1st July 1997 under the Commonwealth Air Navigation Act, you are required to undertake extensive background and security checks, at your own expense, to establish your eligibility to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)

  • Hold a current passport with unrestricted access to all Alliance ports of call with at least 6 months validity.

  • Full unrestricted working rights within Australia 

  • Ability to obtain necessary working VISAs to operate internationally

Preferred Requirements

  • Multi Crew Certificate completed in Australia

The Position

Due to exciting and rapid growth, we are seeking Pilots to join us on the Fokker 100 and Embraer 190 across multiple bases.

Our Bases

We have operational bases in Brisbane, Townsville, Cairns, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Darwin and Rockhampton and a dedicated engineering base located at Brisbane Airport.

We are currently recruiting for the below bases on the Embraer 190 and Fokker 100:

  • Adelaide (E190)

  • Brisbane (E190 and F100)

  • Cairns (E190)

  • Darwin (E190)

  • Perth (F100)

  • Townsville (E190 and F100)


What we are looking for

To be successful, you must meet the specific requirements listed above along with personal qualities of enthusiasm, self-motivation, demonstrated commitment to exceptional quality and high standards.


TEAMS Meeting conducted by a HR and Base Manager, lasting about 40 minutes +/- 10. Refer to the online Interview guide on the website. Recommend wearing a collard shirt with tie.
